I took a chance of gifting two decks to my 19 yo son as a gift for successfully completing A&P2 (9 week summer class). He was thrilled. Very impressed with the quality of the cards as well as all the detailed info. Buying surprise gift for adult children is hit or miss but you've made it easy!!
The quality is phenomenal. The cards are thick and hearty. The artwork is beautiful and I have learned so much just by using these cards a handful of times. My resident/fellow/attending friends absolutely love them and I will have to oblige so they can enjoy and learn as well. The QR code is so cool.
I love medicine/science, the hidden details & Easter eggs, and the pharmacology throughout the deck. What surprised me most was the extra fold on the card box for the opening flap, the arrangement of drug indications/side effects, and the high-quality feel while still looking and being able to shuffle/play with them. They're medically usable, playing usable, and look like collectibles, but can still be used.
I'm a psychiatry resident, hoping to organize a psychiatry poker night / study session using these flashcards. They're very well designed. I like the artwork as well, but the patterns and psychopharmacology is why I purchased. Great job.
I love the hidden details in the cards. Also, I love the cool reactions from my pharmacy colleagues (students, faculty, and pharmacists) to the cards.
I've thoroughly enjoyed the Poker Pharmacopeia playing cards. I've actually purchased several of the original decks to give out as gifts to family, friends, and fellow nurse practitioners. I love the concept and the execution so much that with the newly released set, I ended up purchasing an additional one.. one to keep pristine on display and one to actually use.

I collect playing card decks. These were just too interesting and related to my profession to pass up on. I previously bought the Narcotics deck, very impressed with both the quality of the cards and the information contained within each one. Would love to see a deck for Benzodiazepines or CNS Stimulants as well.
The cards!!!!! OMG!!!! They are awesome! You put an enormous amount of effort into them and the detail reflects that. I was half-way through the antibiotic deck before the QR codes stood out. That was a very nice touch. The cards have so many Easter Eggs.
I got the Narcotic deck, and it's AWESOME. Unique concept, love the care and detail. I got my additional 3 decks this week, they're awesome too. I love the evolution and refinement between the Narcotic deck and the new ones. Would love to see cardiac cards or BP meds as themes.

Time and time again I'm disappointed in playing cards that are cheaply made. Even the US Playing Card Company has sold me decks with sub-par feel. Anything less than linoid or air cushion finish feels like garbage. Quality confirmed. These blew my mind.

I play a lot of cards with my friends who are also healthcare professionals. I showed these to the PA's and providers I work with in the trauma and surgical ICU.. they were all really impressed with the professionalism and end product. They all thought it was really cool.

I got to show my friends who are pharmacists and technicians.. they all thought it was really cool. It's a little niche, nerdy thing, and there's not a lot of that for pharmacy people. This fills a niche market that desperately needs attention.
The reactions I've observed to these cards have been unanimously positive. Everyone I've shown them to.. pharmacy students, pharmacists, techs, nurses.. said the same thing: 'Wow, this is really cool. Unique. Stylish. Love the chemical structures and the MME sorting.'
I was a little skeptical at first because there are so many card decks on the market. But when I looked at them and started playing, I found they were really nice and the detail won me over. So nice, in fact, that I bought a few extra and gave them to my coworkers.
The QR code is the best part.. it takes you directly to the drug page. It's really cool to have so much information on one card, and being able to scan for even more is a great feature.
I was actually very impressed by the whole thing, from the quality to the usability. I still haven't been able to bring myself to use them in a game.. but I know I'll have to eventually, or it's hard to call them playing cards. I especially appreciated the time and attention devoted to the Psychiatry deck. It's not always a popular area, and the complexity often scares professionals away from engaging with it. These decks exceeded my expectations and are absolutely five-star quality.
